Expert in Sport diplomacy, Cross-cultural communication and Mega-events, Olga Pokushalova is the Chief Operating Officer of Futurous, a Mega-event Consulting company for Bidding and Organising Committees, and Sport and Education institutions.
✓ Olga's professional journey began in diplomacy, where she worked for the Commissioner-General of the Russian Pavilion at EXPO-98 in Lisbon. In this role, she managed relationships with Russian exhibitors, media and VIP services while collaborating on cross-national projects with other Participating countries and International Organisations.
✓ Olga developed Futurous Academy, the Innovative Education and Capacity Building practice in order to "awaken the Inner Genius in people and to foster organizations". By bridging different practices (Strategy, Education and Coaching), Olga supports the creation or reinforcement of new capacities and knowledge centers within our customers’ organisations.
✓ Moreover she served as the Director of the Centre for Information and Social Technologies for Youth in Volgograd, where she established a School for Young Journalists—empowering the next generation of media professionals. She also gained experience as a Project Director for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and FinTech developments.
✓ Madam Pokushalova holds a Diploma in International Journalism (MGIMO University, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Russia) with a thesis on Information Management at World Expos. She has a Master's Degree in Translation and Cross-Cultural Communication from Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal. She is also a Professional Certified Coach of International Coach Union (ICU) and holds an MBA in Coaching from European Academy of Economics and Politics.
✓ Olga always strives to share her knowledge: previously as a Content Editor, and an author to media outlets on Hi-tech, including the Russian edition of CNews. Nowadays, she is a frequent TV expert for News and Scientific programs on human capacities, innovation and futurology.
✓ Nowadays, Mme Pokushalova contributes her expertise as a lecturer for International MSA and MBA programs at both the Russian International Olympic University and MGIMO University, fostering the leaders in sports and mega-events.
