Areas of Competence: economics, sustainability, Olympic legacy.

Professional Experience:

- Tania has over 18 years of professional experience in the areas of sustainability and corporate responsibility. Her background combines a PhD in applied economics with a successful hands-on experience of implementing projects at private corporations, local and national governments, research institutions and NGOs.

- She worked as the Sustainability, Accessibility and Legacy head of the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee. Her responsibilities were to develop and oversee the sustainability, accessibility and legacy programmes of Rio 2016, contributing to the creation of positive and lasting environmental, social and economic legacies.

- She lectured at a number of postgraduate level, continuing and executive education programmes in Brazil and Switzerland. She has contributed to world-class applied research and publications and have experience managing multidisciplinary teams involving coordination of simultaneous projects in multi-cultural environments.
